Modélisation et simulation numérique dans un milieu poreux.

Abstract

This thesis aims at the modeling and the numerical simulation of the equations which govern an incompressible Darcy flow in a porous medium. The calculation code used is a house code which already exists and is functional. We consider in our study that the pore volume is completely filled with fluid. The studied domain is a square provided with the boundary conditions. The method used is that of Gauss. Here, Darcy's law applies to a homogeneous porous medium traversed by a flow at low speed. The velocity and pressure fields will be determined through this purely numerical study.
