Résumé: The aim of this work is to bring a theoritecal study contribution to the thermoelectric properties of conductive polymers. This memory is interested in the thermoelectric properties of materials based on a conjugated polymer, poly (3,4- ethylenedioxythiophene), or PEDOT doped with sodium poly (styrene sulfonate) (PSS). We have studied the electrical conductivity, the Seebeck coefficient and the thermal conductivity as a function of temperature which will lead us to give a merit factor of about 0.42 to 300K with a The maximum efficiency of 44%. Then, we studied the optimal current intensity as a function of the temperature and define the coefficient of performance COP. Finally, we analyze the effect of the concentration of charge carriers on the various thermoelectric parameters. Theoretical study of the thermoelectric properties is carried out using the model of Mott or model of variable range hopping (VRH). It is proved that the secondary doping of (PEDOT : PSS) increases the electrical conductivity of the material without interacting with its Seebeck coefficient, which improves the thermoelectric properties of the polymers. On the other hand, we demonstrate the inverse effect of the concentration of charge carriers on thermoelectric parameters.
