Résumé: In this thesis, conducted research works have been focused mainly on the analysis, diagnosis and improvement of the energy efficiency of an energy-intensive building. To cope with this situation, some measures have been adopted to reduce energy needs (heating and cooling) under different climatic regimes. Prediction models have been proposed to estimate, as efficiently as possible, the potential energy consumption required to reach an appropriate level of comfort for all the climatic zones of Algeria. The results indicate that extreme weather conditions are around Batna and Adrar. Thermal insulation and the rational use of energy can lead to a reduction in energy loads of up to 71%. As a result, it is possible to assign prediction models based on the level of building insulation and the average annual temperature of the site. It should also be noted that it is wiser to subsidize the cost of the entire insulation process instead of subsidizing the corresponding energy bill.
