dc.description.abstractThe upsurge of organized crime and the coming of the post cold era transformed the face of the earth. Accordingly, this research paper tends to analyse the events prior and post-cold war in relation to the Japanese and Russian Cartels in a world witnessed two world wars and a psychological war that shaped the world known today. The first chapter of this work is concerned with major historical events which occurred before the fall of the Berlin wall, including the two major world wars, the Cold War, as well as the outcomes of such calamities after their end. In the second chapter, on the other hand; one attempts to tackle the rise of organized crime within the new world order, and majorly the effects of such a phenomenon, specifically the case of the Russian and Japanese Cartels. Moreover, this analytical work resorts into the conclusion that the Russian and Japanese Mafias, indeed, had their own share into reshaping the world, by having impactful influences on the world along various domains.en_US
