Codic alternation is a language practice in which the teacher of the FFL uses the learner's mother tongue when implementing the learning contents, which is also called (linguistic mixing). Our research focuses on the codic alternation in the class of French as a foreign language in primary school, where the two actors in the teaching process (the teacher and the learner) use the mother tongue for various goals. our research is based on a questionnaire for primary school teachers and a record in order to identify the various functions that code-switching exercises in the French as a foreign language class and to check whether its influence is favorable or unfavorable for the teaching / learning process.en_US
