Résumé: In order to preserve water resources and protect the environment from pollution caused by rare and heavy metals, it is necessary to focus attention on finding ways to extract and reuse valuable metals. Among the most important methods used in this field is the solid phase extraction technique, which has led researchers to work on the development of new organic and inorganic supports (resins). Ionic exchanger resins are one of the most important extractants used in the extraction processes to clean and separate industrial wastes containing toxic metal ions. The aim of this research is to extract some minerals ions (praseodymium(III), uranyl, lanthanum(III) and Cadmium(II)) from liquid media by a synthesized resin (polyethyleneimine methylene sodium phosphate). The experimental study enabled us to determine the effect of some factors, such as the contact time, speed of mixing, initial pH in aqueous phase, concentration of metals in the medium, temperature ionic length on the sorption process. Effect of the nature and the concentration of some minerals acids on elution process were also studied.
