dc.description.abstractv Abstract The present work intended to investigate the impact of rehearsal pre- task planning in enhancing the accuracy of EFL narrative writings. Participants engaged in this study were twenty secondary school students and their teachers in Ghazaouet. Hence, different research instruments were administered including narrative tasks, questionnaires to the students and interviews to the teachers. The objectives of this research work were to measure the effects of repeating the same task and to find out the difficulties learners have in writing in terms of accuracy ; in addition to the teachers „views towards rehearsal planning. After, the collected data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The main findings revealed that the “repeated” task showed a significant improvement in the students‟ written accuracy in English and that learners had difficulties in accuracy related to: ability to generate and organize ideas, grammatical structures, word choice and to a lesser extent spelling and punctuation. The results also presented positive attitudes towards Rehearsal planning from the part of the teachers.en_US
