Environment and sustainable development

Abstract

The course covers the fundamental concepts of sustainable development. The aim of this course is to make students aware of the issues, content and actions involved in sustainable development. The aim is to make them aware that it is possible to act to preserve the environment, through their education, as well as at their own level, on their consumption, their daily activities and their society. During their university studies, whatever their speciality and their ambitions for their future career, students will have the opportunity to learn about and experience sustainable development. Sustainable development is currently one of the responses emerging throughout the world to deal with the major ecological, economic and societal challenges facing the world today
