The increasing request for natural products reduces the use of chemical synthesis products. Therefore, the main objective of our work was to contribute to the valorization of 3 plants of the Asteraceae family: Carthamus caeruleus, Anacyclus valentinus and Chrysanthemum coronarium. carlina oxide, the main compound extracted from the essential oil and hydrosol of the roots of C. caeruleus and its analogues obtained by hemisynthesis showed interesting antioxidant properties, while the essential oil exhibit a better insecticidal activity. In addition, carlina oxide showed promising in vivo antifungal activity to control P. expansum infection in apples. As well, the best in-silico anti-microbial activity was attributed to the IM9 analogue. On the other hand, the combination of the essential oils of Ammoides verticillata and C. caeruleus has shown significant synergistic effects, far superior to those of the synthetic antioxidant. Moreover The essential oils of A. valentinus and C. coronarium possess a matrix of compound in different proportions. In addition, we have observed that essential oils of A. valentinus and C. coronarium individually or in combination have an in vivo protective and preventive effect against P. expansum on apples and pears. The combination of these two oils showed a synergistic effect for the antioxidant activity, but it is still lower than that of BHT, while the mixture of the oxygen fractions gives an antagonistic antioxidant effect.en_US
