Abstract

Pistacia atiantica est une espèce qui a une large répartition géographique. On la retrouve au nord comme au sud. Dans cette investigation nous avons ciblé une étude dendrométrique des pieds qui constituent le peuplement de Sidi Makhlouf (commune d'Ouled Brahim) d'une part et analysé le sol sur lequel se développent ces pieds de l'autre part. Les résultats obtenus dans cette investigation montrent l'état actuel des peuplements de la pistacheraie ; nous avons noté la présence de pieds très intéressants avec des diamètres pouvant atteindre 3 m. Sur le plan pédologique l'ensemble des sols analysés sont de texture limoneuse. Mots clés : Pistacia atiantica, dendrométrie, pédologie, Sidi Makhlouf, Ouled Brahim.
