Résumé: This work aims at highlighting the influence of ICT on the learners’ listening and speaking skills as well as their cultural skill. The main hypothesis of the research is that by using computer aids and the ICTs, we will attract the learners’ attention to an atmosphere full of information from the target community, and then, develop more easily their oral competences and their cultural knowledge about the target community (British and/or American community). To confirm this hypothesis, data was collected by administering a questionnaire for third year EFL students at university of Tlemcen, and a questionnaire for teachers from the same department of the same university. The result obtained from the gathered data shows that the use of computer aids and ICTs are very motivating for students; they allow them to focus more and help them to achieve better efficiency in speaking. Therefore, using technology promotes plainly their knowledge about the British and the American cultures; and teachers are aware of the merits of using technology to enhance lectures. However, teachers are still sceptical about adopting officially technology as a method in teaching, they want technology to remain just as a facilitator not a method of teaching.
