dc.description.abstract | This research deals with the importance of developing EFL learners’ cultural awareness especially through the course of civilisation. The research argues that although the civilisation course is one of the important cultural subjects, it is often taught as history. The findings of the research have concluded that this neglect of teaching culture has to do with the content, the way of teaching and the teaching materials. On the basis of the findings, it is suggested that there should be a review of the content, the teaching techniques, and the teaching materials for better teaching of civilisation and culture. | en_US |
