dc.description.abstractAlgeria has an abundance of renewable energy resources, which makes the use of solar energy a promising solution for supplying farms and villages with electricity, especially in light of its current high dependence on fossil fuels and the challenges facing progress in energy. Our study examined the implementation of solar power on farms and in homes. On an agricultural farm, we presented a study to evaluate the size of a stand-alone photovoltaic water pumping installation, and to determine the size of grid-connected photovoltaic installations in a village in the province of Tlemcen. The aim of the study was to implement a technical process to evaluate and analyse the economic profitability of the project using the PVsyst programmeen_US
