Résumé: Coffee is linked to the protection of many diseases, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and some cancers. The objective of this master is to do a meta-analysis of the latest research carried out in recent years concerning the effect of coffee consumption on liver function and lipid peroxidation in pregnant diabetic women in the wilaya of Tlemcen.. For this reason some biochemical parameters such as (total cholesterol, HDL-C, LDL-C, glucose, triglycerides and hepatic transaminases (TGO and TGP) and also the parameter of lipid peroxidation (MDA) were analyzed in pregnant diabetic women consuming coffee compared to their non-coffee consuming controls. . The results showed that compared to the control group, total cholesterol, plasma levels of LDL-C, transaminases (TGO and TGP), and blood sugar and MDA levels of pregnant women with diabetes significantly decreased during coffee consumption; in contrast, the triglyceride levels of the two groups of women were compared to those of the control group. Compared to the group, the plasma HDL-C level showed a significant increase in the proportion of pregnant diabetic women consuming coffee. In short, we can deduce that moderate coffee consumption is good for pregnant women with diabetes.
