| Résumé: | This research is based on the technical translation , especially the translation of user manuals. It aims to analyze and highlight the translator's strengths and weaknesses in his translation of a washing machine manual from English to Arabic. The study showed that the translator relied on machine translation which is not always right choice for preserving the semantic and the functional impact of the original text. |
