Résumé: In our work, we have explored the French neologisms created by young Algerians and their impact on language and culture. We have observed that these neologisms reflect the linguistic creativity of young Algerians, as well as their ability to adapt the French language to their context and needs. We have highlighted the influence of linguistic and cultural contact between France and Algeria in the creation of these neologisms. In addition, we have highlighted how social networks and instant messaging have been key platforms for the creation and dissemination of these neologisms. Throughout our work, we have investigated the respondents' perception of whether these neologisms enrich the French vocabulary, their impact on communication between speakers and the possibility of their use changing in the future. We have also examined the types of neologisms used in the daily lives of young people and the reasons behind their use. Our work has revealed that the French neologisms created by young Algerians are a reflection of the evolution and influence of the French language in the context of Algerian youth. These neologisms demonstrate the linguistic and cultural diversity in Algeria, as well as the creativity and adaptability of language. In short, our work highlights the importance of the neologisms created by young Algerians in the linguistic and cultural context. These neologisms reflect the dynamic evolution of language and culture, and offer us a broader view of the influence of French on Algerian youth and their culture.
