Abstract
Companies have always relied on marketing to promote their
products, attract customers. With the introduction of a digital phase
in the world came eـmarketing into existance, and the internet has
become teeming with users from all around the world causing
different cultures to clash ,leaving marketers to seize the
opportunity by transferring promotional techniques online with the
marketing slogans at the forefront. These slogans can act like
magnets that attract costumers towards a merchandise. However ,
for the customers to understand the message conveyed by the
slogan, it must be designed in the language they speak and a cultur
they belong to. That highlights the importance of marketing
translation which focuses on conveying marketing content to a

particular audience without compromising its message. Herein lies
the importance of studying whether translation could be effective as
an eـmarketing method via marketing slogans.
