Abstract
The purpose of this research is to examine how students in the second year of the EFL
program at Abou Bakr Belkaid University perceive the use of E-learning in Algeria. A
quantitative approach was used for this study. Eighty students from Abou Bakr Belkaid
University's English Department were chosen as the study's sample. Using questionnaires as
the main means of collecting information, it examines how the respondents feel about Elearning. The study's findings indicate that the Algerian educational system is not ready to
fully adopt E-learning. It also exemplifies the fact that the necessary technology
infrastructure is not in place to support this shift. Not only do instructors and students lack an
understanding of e-significance, learning's but students also face significant technological
challenges while adopting and using these platforms. The study concludes with a set of
suggestions meant to further the state of E-learning in Algeria.
