Our results suggest:  Prenatal screening for hepatitis B is mandatory from the first trimester of pregnancy in order to establish preventive measures for mother-to-child transmission, especially serovaccination at birth.  Establishment of a care protocol, codified by including the viral load of the mother to avoid abusive proscriptions. Ensure the availability of the vaccine and specific immunoglobulins in all establishments so that they can be administered to newborns within the necessary timeframes.en_US
