Multiculturalism and Islamophobia in Britain

Abstract

This work deals with Multiculturalism in Britain, it reasons and effects. There are many cultures that flourished because of Multiculturalism and the major reason of that is Immigration. Although, many think that this issue caused ethnic minorities to be treated unequally. It is said that cultural diversity is what made Britain as a whole. Thus, this research investigates the Muslim community in Britain by showing their reasons that led them to leave their countries. The research tends to focus on Islamophobia, the main events that led to it emergence and the way the media helped in shaping the image of Islamophobia.
