Résumé: | In a context marked by a decrease in fossil energy reserves, the use of renewable energies, in particular solar photovoltaic energy, has become a major issue. In this regard, the development of new semiconductor materials for photovoltaic applications seems promising. This work was devoted to a simulation study of two solar cells based on Bi2S3 and CZTS. We have numerically evaluated using the SCAPS-1D simulator the short-circuit current Jsc, the open-circuit voltage Voc, the form factor FF and the electrical efficiency η for a typical structure of ZnO / CdS / Bi2S3 as well for the ZnO / CdS / CZTS structure, through the optimization of the structural and physical parameters such as the thickness, the density of the carriers as well as the temperature of the two absorbent layers Bi2S3 and CZTS, we were able to obtain the following results: For Bi2S3: an optimum conversion efficiency of 24.01% for a thickness of 4µm and a doping of 3.1016 cm-3 at 300K. For CZTS: an optimum conversion efficiency of 25.32% for a thickness of 2.2 µm and a doping of 2.1017 cm-3 at 300K |
