Résumé: The technologies of the solar energy offer a clean and renewable source of energy and are essential components of a sustainable energy future. The main objective of this study is to find the optimal characteristics of a photovoltaic system capable of satisfying the energy needs for an agricultural farm in specific isolated site. For this purpose, a method of technical- economic optimization of stand-alone photovoltaic system has been selected. At first, we estimate the global solar radiation on a horizontal plan and tilted in the region proposed by using several models. In a second part, a sizing of the stand-alone photovoltaic system was realized to respect the specification. The system was designed by taking into account the load the energy available on the sun. The complete model for sizing a stand-alone photovoltaic system was presented to determine the required PV power, battery storage capacity, size of the charge controller and the inverter to meet the required load. Using this model, the peak power, the surface of the photovoltaic modules and the capacity of the battery were calculated reach 4000Wp, 27.33m2 and 4036,66 Ah respectively. Then, in through the sensitivity analysis, we can determine the economic viability of the different options and the size of the components of a PV installation. The Hybrid Optimization Model for Electrical Renewable Software (HOMER) was used to determine the optimal system configuration in terms of Net Present cost.
