Résumé: Global warming, the greenhouse effect, the release of CO2 into the atmosphere, the expansion of the ozone hole, all because of the instability of fossil markets, we must protect the environment and an overall revision of the energy strategy in the world. In our work, we focused on renewable energy developments with the interconnection of these sources and energy efficiency. These sources are therefore desirable and should be considered as a long-term solution to energy problems. Indeed, this system does not only depend on its technical reliability, it is also dependent on Performance of all its elements, for this, a particular interest is brought to the optimization of the dimensioning of these elements. We focused our work on renewable energies and these defeat source. Two basic aspects of our work were presented: Energy efficiency and sustainable development. In a nutshell, the heart of our work is the energy efficiency of the electrical transformer. A numerical modeling of an electrical transformer (step-down and elevator) is presented. This numerical approach will show the evolution of the energy efficiency of an electric transformer according to different parameters.
