Résumé: | In the current study, the effect of operating conditions such as pH value, feed flow, concentration of the solution and the applied pressure for the removal of Lanthane (III), Iron(III) and their mixtures for the production of drinking water by nanofiltration and osmose inverse membranes was investigated. The results show that the best extraction condition for lanthanum at pH = 3.0 is at P = 13.5 bar for the concentrations of 10 ppm and 55 ppm. At pH = 6.0, the retention of the initial solution of 10 ppm is total (100%) whatever the allowed pressure (from 6 to 13.5 bars) .A pH = 9.0, beyond 55 ppm, the retention is quantitative. For the three mixtures studied, at pH = 3.0 and whatever the permissible pressure (from 6.0 to 13.5 bar), the extraction of Lanthanum is quantitative (100%) whereas at pH = 6 The best extraction condition is at P = 9.75 bars for the mixture Fe3+ 50 ppm / Las3+ 50 ppm. At pH = 3.0, the pressure P = 6.0 bars is the best iron (III) extraction condition for the Fe3+ 50 ppm / La3+ 50 ppm and Fe3+ 100 ppm / La3+ 100 ppm mixtures. For reverse osmosis, pH = 9.0 and concentration C = 10 ppm; the best extraction of La(III) condition is at P = 9.75 bars. |
