Abstract
The present research tries to clarify the importance role of classroom assessment in the
development of learner autonomy. In addition to this, the researcher tried to find other
strategies that help to foster learner autonomy in the third year students of secondary school.
This research work is divided in two parts: theoretical and practical part. The researcher used
two research instruments: questionnaire and an interview.
