It is an attempt to uncover the literary merit of graphic novels through a literary analysis of The Complete Maus: A Survivor’s Tale 1980 -1991, a popular graphic novel that introduced the theme of the Holocaust in a very controversial way, shedding the light on the author’s background and how it was an important factor in creating this graphic novel.
