As it highlights their strengths and weaknesses, and gives solutions to improve the quality of their translation. We selected a set of verses from Kamel Messaoudi's song “Ya Hasra Alik Ya Denya” to be translated by chat gpt and gemini, and then compared with a human translation of the same song. Through this comparison, it was possible for us to determine how effective their translation for this type of song was, as well as the difficulties and challenges they face in this process.
