This research aims to examine the translation of the literary-political discourse related to the rights of Palestinian women and to explore the extent to which translation can convey this discourse to foreign readers without distortion or alteration. Such distortions weaken the effectiveness of the text¸ distort its message¸ and diminish the value of the translation itself. The study therefore emphasizes the need for trained translators in this field to ensure accuracy and fidelity in the translation process.

This study provides an opportunity to explore the limits of the effectiveness of chatbots in translating Algerian Chaabi songs. As it highlights their strengths and weaknesses, and gives solutions to improve the quality of their translation. We selected a set of verses from Kamel Messaoudi's song “Ya Hasra Alik Ya Denya” to be translated by chat gpt and gemini, and then compared with a human translation of the same song. Through this comparison, it was possible for us to determine how effective their translation for this type of song was, as well as the difficulties and challenges they face in this process. Thus, these applications can be developed, more inclusive, and more efficient with better quality of translation.

This research explores the role of music, sound design, and soundscapes in shaping narrative and emotional experiences in film. Focusing on La La Land (2016), Interstellar (2014), and The Dark Knight (2008), the study analyzes how different genres employ musical and sonic elements to guide storytelling, develop characters, and influence audience perception. It highlights the impact of techniques such as silence, rhythm, leitmotifs, and musical contrast in creating psychological immersion and emotional resonance. The objective is to demonstrate that music and soundscapes are not secondary elements but fundamental storytelling tools that shape cinematic meaning and the viewer’s emotional journey. This work will hopefully contributes to film and sound studies by offering a comparative insight into how sound operates as a narrative force across distinct cinematic worlds.

Zelda de Meriem Guemache : étude des personnages, de la narration et des espaces dans une quête d’anticipation féminine

Au-delà des figures humaines, le travail s’attache à montrer comment l’écriture elle même devient un outil de mémoire et de résistance. Le récit navigue entre l’Algérie et la Sicile, jouant sur les paysages et les ambiances pour symboliser l’enfermement et l’ouverture. Les choix narratifs – discours direct, focalisations variées, temporalités imbriquées – participent à créer un espace littéraire où se croisent amour, trahison, amitié et identité culturelle. En fin de compte, ce mémoire révèle que Zelda n’est pas seulement un roman : c’est un miroir tendu aux réalités historiques et sociales, et un appel à reconnaître la force des femmes dans la construction d’un récit collectif.

La mondialisation confronte le monde à de nouveaux défis. Il en est de même dans le monde de l’éducation plus précisément dans l’enseignement d’une langue. Cela implique de repenser les pratiques en vue d’une amélioration continue des actions. C’est dans cette perspective que nous avons souhaité apporter notre contribution en nous intéressant à l’agir des enseignants de FLE à l’université. Aujourd’hui, le métier d’enseignant est complexe et l’engagement des étudiants en cours est un enjeu crucial pour l’apprentissage et la réussite scolaire. Les recherches ont montré que l’engagement des étudiants est étroitement lié à leur motivation, leur intérêt et leur sentiment d’appartenance à la communauté éducative. Cependant, les enseignants sont souvent confrontés à des défis pour maintenir l’engagement de leurs étudiants, notamment dans un contexte où les distractions sont nombreuses et les attentes des étudiants sont de plus en plus élevées.
