Grammar is a core component of language learning. However, many students lack interest in studying this linguistic aspect. Therefore, using intercultural context based teaching materials is deemed important to enhance students' interest in learning grammar. In the light of this thought, this study investigated the effectiveness of intercultural context-based materials in promoting grammar learning. Specifically, it examined students' perceptions towards integrating these materials into grammar lessons and assignments and explored whether they enhance their interest in learning grammar. To reach this end, the researcher executed an exploratory case study in the Department of English at the University of Tlemcen. The Data was collected using a questionnaire with 40 first-year English as a Foreign Language students, and semi-structured interview with 5 English as a foreign language grammar teachers. The results indicate that the majority of students who were exposed to intercultural context-based teaching materials held positive perceptions, believing these materials would facilitate their grammar learning and make it more memorable. Similarly, teachers also expressed optimism about integrating these materials, expecting positive impacts on students' grammar proficiency. This calls for the urgent incorporation of intercultural context-based instructional materials into grammar teaching and learning processes
